1964 Born in Shanghai, China.

1987 Graduated from the History Department of Fudan University, Shanghai, China.

2003 Worked as the chief-curator of Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art; the director of 2004 Chinese Contemporary Art Awards.

Currently lives and works in Beijing and Shanghai as an independent curator.
